Three Things

Writer: Brandon WoodruffBrandon Woodruff

Are you thinking of trying a new diet or workout plan? If so, i want to help. I’d like you to ask yourself 3 things.

1. Is this going to challenge me at all?

It may not be too big of a challenge, but it needs to push you beyond what you’re doing now. Adaptation does not happen without some form of stress to cause it.

2. Is this going to be sustainable long term?

On the flip side, don’t go from zero physical activity to throwing 500 on the bar for squats or signing up for a half marathon later this month. Pick things you can realistically stick to, both in your workouts and your nutrition. Measured challenges. That’s what you’re going for here.

3. Do I have someone holding me accountable?

You may think you have the perfect balance of challenge and realism, but that week when you get 5 hours of sleep for three nights in a row or Betty brings in her special red velvet on Monday and doughnuts on Wednesday, you need someone to check in with. This can make all the difference.

If you need someone to be that #3, message me! I’d love to see how I can help.
