Supplement: "Something that completes or makes an addition"


You only NEED supplements if:


1. Something is necessary for your health or goals


and


2. You can't get enough of it through your diet alone (like how some people use protein powder because they struggle to get enough protein through their meals and snacks).


So, if a company is marketing their supplement to you as necessary or as the answer to your problems, move along. The only thing you're going to lose is your money, and the only thing you're going to gain is sadness.
