Hey.
If you're about to take an 18-hour road trip, do you wear a diaper, pack 6 sandwiches, and not stop at all until you arrive?
I hope not.
Stop doing that with your fitness goals.
Just like you make stops on a road trip, you need to plan some short-term goals as stops to keep your motivation up.
Here are some examples of some you might choose:
-Consistently hit your calorie and/or protein goals for two weeks
-Fit into a shirt or pair of pants you used to love
-Lose 10 pounds
-Hit a benchmark on a big lift
These are highly individual, but they're needed if your goal is pretty far off.
